Fair use rationale for Image:Macleod School Banner .gif
editImage:Macleod School Banner .gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:05, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not a means for you to advertise your school. If you delete this section, leave a reason, and bad publicity is not a valid reason.
Needs a more neutral article to adhere to wikipedia's WP:NPOV rules.
editThis article reads mor like an ad, with unverified claims.
"village atmosphere", "history of strong academic achievement" (with no citations), "school is currently in the process of 'strengthening' their curriculum" (strengthening in what way I ask? and again, theres no citation), "its strong reputation as a school of excellence" (that line sounds so neutral, and theres no citations to provide any verifiable claim of the school's "excellence"), "high quality teachers" (you cant just say "high quality teachers"!, list their acheivements and whats makes them so high quality, and for god's sake, make it a verifiable claim).
"Students travel from over 20 different suburbs to attend the school" (That fact needs a citation).
The sections advertising (whoops! I mean explaining) the school programs should have citations linking to the school's relevant page in their site or something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Emporer Chimp (talk • contribs) 11:20, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Apparent contradiction
editThe article states "The College grew out of the merger of Macleod High School and Macleod Primary School in 2000." and "It was established as one of four Victorian specialist music schools in the 1970s". Obviously, both sentences cannot be true. Would it be correct to say that Macleod High School was established in the 1970s? Coyets (talk) 00:03, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
In addition, the author probably meant Macleod high was a specialist school in the '70s and then merged in 2000 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.245.242.39 (talk) 10:24, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
