I had one in my garden in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, Ireland 03/08/2008 - Niall

I saw one a few years ago west of Toronto, Canada. I thought it was a baby hummingbird but it was waay too small. So now I think it is this moth. --72.39.35.178 (talk) 17:15, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

I live in Attleboro, Massachusetts in the USA, I have had many of these moths this summer, and if I figure out how to put a picture up, I will. The colors on these moths are spectacular, I have now gotten another favorite picture subject.
