Nagumomu
editThe Utsava Sampradaya kriti which begins with Nagumomu galavani naa manoharuni is set to Madhyamavati ragam, which is different from the more popular kriti in Abheri which begins with Nagumomu ganaleni najali thelisi. Principle of Janya
editDr BalamuraliKrishna gives the principle to determine the parent of a Janya Ragam. According to it, Madhyamavati is a Janya of NataBhairavi. Search for YouTube video "Aesthetics of Swara Kalpana in Carnatic Music - Part 3 of 4". Two minutes into the video he answers this question from a student. 49.207.221.171 (talk) 06:28, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
