When I talk about the Women in Red project I frequently get asked whether we will ever have 50% women on Wikipedia. The sad thing is that women frequently didnt make it into written history. The example I normally give is that "sadly nearly all the generals at Waterloo were blokes" ... so they will have more articles. When I'm saying that I have always had the nagging thought .... "well WERE there notable women at the battle?". You have supplied the answer. GREAT. thanks Victuallers (talk) 10:17, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
