editwhat is magic angle
references?
editAnybody know where to find references for actually deriving the Magic Angle using the Hamiltonian? Please let me know ASAP.--Zereshk 22:15, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
Magic angle & Magnetic fields
editOf interest is the fact that if you rotate a point magnetic dipole moment m on an axis perpendicular to m, the component of B(m,r) perpendicular to that axis is zero at r, where r is an angle away from the plane of rotation, where:
is satisfied. Also, given that the magnetic field lines do in fact rotate with a magnet, spinning a point magnetic dipole moment on its m axis should generate a virtual charge with field lines pointing toward, or away, a common conical surface whose angle away from m is , the magic angle. talk2siNkarma86—Expert Sectioneer of Wikipedia 04:00, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

editI'm absolutely not a mathematician, but to my untrained eye the diagram evidently does not depict a cube, or a 45°-45°-90° triangle, which rather defeats the whole point, I would suggest. MinorProphet (talk) 14:00, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
