editTo the author - please read the FAQ and strongly consider NPOV. Oh, and, all trains suffer one problem with suburbs - frequency of having to STOP undercuts train speed something awful, which is why high speed lines tend to be non-local expresses. --MichaelTinkler
This article is just an unrealistic dream. At least it would never happen in the US where the citizens will never give up driving their SUVs. The Maglev may replace "some" air flights in domestic travel if the system can connect some major cities. I wonder how the maglev "fly" through the rockies. Most of the claims in this article don't make sense.
removed: Maglevs definitely need to be brought over and used in America. --MichaelTinkler
Move Maglev topic here.
editIt appears that maglev's meaning is distinct from the etymological term magnetic levitation. Also, due to differences in casing, there is no article name collision with MagLev. Because of these reasons, and since Maglev is primary topic, I suggest bringing the primary topic here after pushing the disambiguation out to Maglev (disambiguation), however arguably even this disambiguation page is unnecessary. --Bxj (talk) 04:39, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

– There's strong evidence that Maglev (transport) is considered the primary topic by the users, it gets all the hits. So I want to move Maglev (transport) here and move this to the disambiguation. Many thanks. - Sheer Incompetence (talk) Now with added dubiosity! 16:07, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

- support—It seems very likely that the trains/etc are the primary topic. ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 16:50, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
