There should be a new seperate section for the critical reaction when it's released in less than a month. JAF1970 20:24, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Download update

Have PlayStation 3 owners had this update? JAF1970 16:05, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't believe the PS3 has received a corresponding update.►Chris Nelson 16:08, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Let me know when this situation updates - I have not had that glitch, and I don't visit those forums. Or update it, since the format has been established for it. JAF1970 23:33, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nintendo DS cover

edit

Seems pointless to me. It can be sourced that the game was made for that system. All that is needed is ONE cover of the game, and it's already there. Anything else is purely decoration.►Chris Nelson 17:12, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

MLB 2K7 is not a Xbox 360 game, though. It's multiplatform, and removing information seems a little contradictory. If you want to include screenshots from the DS (and other versions) to replace it, feel free. JAF1970 17:31, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well the picture of the game the top shouldn't be any console's game cover, it should be generic, like the one at Madden NFL 08.►Chris Nelson 17:36, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Given JAF1970 cannot seem to read Wikipedia:Non-free content It’s probably better to address the issue here. The Nintendo DS cover does not belong in the article since its being used for aesthetic purposes; there is no specific mention or commentary about it in the section, nor in the entire article. The cover is nothing special, it’s just a regurgitation of a the cover in the info box., with a different border. Previously, the Resident Evil 4 article used to display all six of its alternate covers. An admin determined merely showing the image and saying, “these are the alternate covers from abroad” did not justify its use in the article. The same thing happened in the Madden Curse article. –I do not even know where the heck your coming off telling me that following Wikipedia’s rules are subjective – its stated in section four of the Non-free content article. Your better off doing what Chris suggested, and using a generic cover. -►ShadowJester07  17:39, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Fine. I added a screenshot of the Nintendo DS version in its place. It shows how different it is from the next-gen version. JAF1970 18:08, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Mlb2k7 box lg.jpg

edit

Image:Mlb2k7 box lg.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Rationale given --- it's typical box art used for every single video game article on Wikipedia. JAF1970 21:14, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
