  • Done, they are now known under the MLE banner, however the IFCE seems to exist in some way.

Conflicts of interest

There should possibly be some mention of contractual disputes between competitive eaters and MLE. MLE holds the rights to arguably the largest event in the year, and bars entry from non-contracted MLE eaters. Most notably, Kobayashi's incident around 2012 resulting in trumped up charges and arrest at the Nathan's event.
