editI added wikiproject medicine. First Aid for USMLE step 1 2008, page 322 lists Major basic protein, under eosinophils. If it is in first aid, every doctor should know it and we should try to make this article more readable for medical students and doctors who have little molecular biology background. It was obviously written by a biologist, which is a GOOD thing, but there is room for improvement for more audiences - especially to have clinical relevance earlier in the article so that people are motivated to continue reading.
