MERGE WITH ITV PLAY
editIt seems that much of the info on this page could be merged into ITV Play. As the article ITV Play is full of uncited material, it could be thinned out and replaced with a larger Make Your Play section.Zzx28 19:32, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Looks reasonable to me. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 10:39, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Dispute
editI am getting sick of this! This Mel Etitis character seems to think he ownes this article. He keeps reverting my edits, because the only source we have that Alex has left the show is from her very own mouth.

- Read WP:CITE (and WP:CIVIL). --Mel Etitis (Talk) 21:13, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry, I actually accidentally recorded her saying it on my dvd box. I just dont have as much time on my hands as some so on my dvd recorder it stays - I have found a website mentioning it too though and i have cited it but that too is not good enough for king mel.
- As your only recourse is childish sarcasm, and you're either unwilling or unable to understand our guidelines and policies, there's little point discussing the issue. Still, for the record: "I saw it on the television" is original research and not accepted as a source; blogs and fansites are also not acceptable. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:01, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- A source has just just been added, and you removed it. Why?

Can you point me to the source in the latest set of reverts? I can see some incorrect capitalisation and lots of unsourced changes, but no source. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:57, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
If that was in one of the many unexplained and belligerent reverts, I missed it — which is just one reason that that style of editing is counter-productive. However, that source says only: "Alex had previously been heading ITV1's live weekend show Make Your Play" — it doesn't say that she's no longer on the programme at all, and says nothing about who is — so how does this justify the changes that you're trying to insist on? (Note also that what was added was a copyvio cut-and-paste from this site — which would also explain its unencyclopædic English style.) --Mel Etitis (Talk) 08:28, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Actually it says "She has also just been snapped up by ITV1 to host their new live game show Glitterball most week nights. Alex had previously been heading ITV1’s live weekend show Make Your Play," This proves she is now on Glitterball and not on Make Your Play. Adi39 22:23, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
