Top two leagues professional status

edit

The refs used to verify the claim that the top two leagues fully professional status do not mention this. Hack (talk) 03:37, 5 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I added another ref that point directly to the governs body of MSL and MPL. The FMLPP, the company which operates and runs five entities in Malaysian football under its jurisdiction, which include Malaysia Super League, the Malaysia Premier League, the FA Cup, the Malaysia Cup and the Charity Shield.

FMLLP organises and keeps the official record of the league and cup matches while enforcing the rules of professional football. Besides that, the company also oversees the development, certification, and registration of professional football players, coaches, and referees. Football Malaysia is also responsible for promoting professional football in Malaysia through broadcasts and other media outlets.

In short, MSL and MPL are already a professional leagues and will be fully privatised with its own management away from the the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) by next year.JebatMalaya (talk) 03:55, 5 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
