editPlease can an administrator add this citation, as requested, from the official Newcastle United website which confirms Supermac's time at Tonridge
http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/HeroesDetail/0,,10278~234437,00.html
The official Tonbridge Angels FC website explains when the club changed their name from Tonbridge AFC, the club mentioned in the nufc biography, to Tonbridge Angels FC.
Is he the same person as the Zero Time guitarist Malcolm McDonald who covered Bob Marley's I Shot the Sheriff back in the 1990's with a distinctive scottish-style percussion? 85.244.20.49 (talk) 23:04, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes, the very same; he'd wanted to be a drummer, but his knee-injury ruled that out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.44.24.125 (talk) 19:43, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Fee
editThe agreed fee was a third of a million pounds. According to Malcolm himself (interviewed on TalkSport radio in Jan 2013) the cheque was written out for £333,333.34. Dadge (talk) 23:14, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Trivia
editI removed the "Macdonald is a keen yodeller and is a key member of the Seaton Sluice Songbirds." claim as he refuted this on TalkSport radio in April 2014, He does though live in Seaton Sluice.15:02, 7 April 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Statto74 (talk • contribs)

Golden Boot
editWe don't do anachronism on Wikipedia. The Golden Boot award did not exist until the arrival of the Premier League in the 1990s, therefore MM didn't win it. I have changed the article accordingly. - Sitush (talk) 11:56, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
