editWhat? What in the name of God does "siffilated" mean? It doesn't respond to a call in Dictionary.com.
Do we have a source on his height? "Roughly five-foot-nine-a-half" is a non sequitur as that's a pretty specific value. Lfh 20:43, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
In his Wisden obituary he is stated to be 5'11" - this figure also appears at cricket-online and cricinfo. It seems there are a few other references to 5'10" or 5'10"1/2 but never have I seen what is listed in the wikipedia entry. As it is unreferenced I will revert it to the most common appearance of 5'11", however if the original author finds a reference for it, by all means revert.--Crx2gen 01:28, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
I am old enough to have watched Andy Roberts play and I am unsure if he was 5'11". Grantlea Keiza produced a book entitled 'Fast and Furious' which I have and Roberts is stated as being 5'9" in that book. Roberts came to our school when I was a boy and all of us stated that he looked quite small but he was strong shouldered. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.20.111 (talk) 23:08, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Me again from the above paragraph, I apologise, my assumption appears incorrect re Robert's height. There is a well known photo on the net (just type 'Andy Roberts' into Google and you will see it) and its pretty clear that compared to Michael Holding in the photo that Roberts is not 5'9". Marshall was around 5'9" and I'd suggest Roberts is closer to 5'11". I've changed my edit accordingly. What in the name of God does "siffilated" mean?
It’s a fairly obscure term for whispering. I'm not clear about the Last Rites thing; could someone with a better knowledge of religious practice please explain the significance of what Wes Hall did here? Can a priest offer the rites post mortem if he doesn't do this aloud??? Tsuguya (talk) 06:36, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
