Malone family name history
editThe article currently begins with a two-paragraph discussion of the history of the name Malone in Ireland. This is not appropriate for a disambiguation page and should be moved into a separate page linked from here. --208.76.104.133 (talk) 05:16, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Harrison source
editFollowing a discussion, here and here, I've changed it from Celtic and Hebrew origins to Irish alone. Harrison calls it Hebrew and Celtic for its description of the meaning but ends it with the Irish Mael Eòin. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 07:01, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Specific St. John
editI suppose it's safe to assume that the St. John in question is John the Apostle, but since the Saint John wikipage is a rather large disambiguation list, it'd by nice to have a specification in the Malone article. Druff (talk) 00:30, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
