Malvern Star
editWhy was the article deleted to which this place was linked? Can anyone help? It was an important part of Australia's cycling heritage. Eyedubya (talk) 23:28, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Just had a look - the deleted article (speedied per A7) simply consisted of:
- Malvern Star is an Australian bicycle brand, which was established in Melbourne. Malvern Star is now a member of the Pacific Brands family.
- If you can improve on that, there'd be no problem with recreation. Orderinchaos 00:04, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've added in a section about Malvern Star. If anyone wants to follow up the references, there's enough there for an article on Malvern Star by itself as well. Eyedubya (talk) 06:40, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'd actually suggest splitting it away now - there's more than enough there for a decent stub on the company in its own right. Probably advertise it as a new article on AWNB too - no doubt some there will be able to improve it - I am frequently surprised by the breadth of knowledge of our project people :) Orderinchaos 07:14, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Pronunciation?
editWhat is the source for the /mælvərn/ pronunciation? In watching online videos of Melbourne locals, they say /'mɔːlvərn/.67.83.99.134 (talk) 21:31, 19 September 2022 (UTC)corpho
