- Mouhamadou Kane → Mamadou Kane (soccer, born 2003)
- Mamadou Kané → Mamadou Kané (footballer, born 1997)
– 2003-born player goes primarily by Mamadou. All the sources as well as his club refer to him as such and is how his name is listed on his Instagram. Second player differs only with an accent on the last name, which previous RM have developed a consensus that it is not enough of a disambiguating difference. Neither page really dominated in page views. The first averages about 5 per day, while the second averages about 20. Neither is an extraordinary amount that would scream clear primary topic. - Comment - Wouldn't moving Mouhamadou Kane to Mamadou Kane (Canadian soccer) and renaming Mamadou Kané to Mamadou Kané (Guinean footballer) be better? Mucube (talk • contribs) 23:01, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- No; nationality is to be avoided where possible as it can be ambiguous and can change (the Canadian player was born in Senegal, for example). Year of birth never does. GiantSnowman 21:21, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
