Paid editing
editThis article was certainly created by someone who was paid to do it, or closely associated with the subject. They even uploaded various certificates using as references, clearly indicating they have first person access to the subject's personal belongings. The article also has an overly promotional tone. Controversy
editOn February 19, 2024, a man named Raahib Reza died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Lab Aid Hospital in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. According to reports, Raahib had visited Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab at Lab Aid Hospital for fatty liver disease. Dr. Mahtab reportedly advised Raahib to undergo an endoscopy procedure. According to the doctor, Raahib was suggested to undergo the procedure by taking sleeping pills or staying awake. Raahib opted for the sleeping pills.[1] However, allegations made by Raahib's family claim that Dr. Mahtab administered anesthesia without reviewing the patient's test reports beforehand. The family further alleges that the improper administration of anesthesia led to Raahib's subsequent cardiac arrest and death. In response to the allegations, Dr. Mahtab stated that there was no evidence of negligence on his part, and that the treatment provided was done according to proper procedures. He denied any grounds for blame.[1] In response to the matter, Chowdhury Meher E Khuda (Dip), public relations officer of LabAid Group, said Reza was administered anaesthesia by the physician's personal anesthesiologist, who does not work at the hospital.[2]
Previously, Prof Dr Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil, chairman of Hepatology department at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), and two other doctors were sued for the death of Dr Mohammad Towfiq Enam. Towfiq died while undergoing treatment at BRB Hospital on May 30, 2021.[3]

- These are all allegations and are WP:UNDUE, failing WP:NPOV until the ministers report comes out to verify the allegations one way or another. scope_creepTalk 14:41, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Xkalponik: If you can post a reference or two to ministers reports so I can have a look at it, it would be ideal. Post a few links on here if you can. Thanks. scope_creepTalk 14:41, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Scope creep, Okay. Let's wait for the reports. I'm not concerned about the allegations being or not being on the page, but I'm more concerned about the user who vehemently violated policies and no actions have been taken against them yet. X (talk) 14:49, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
- I believe if allegation are made and are all over the media and news it can remain in wikipedia rather than waiting for conviction. If the doctor gets or doesn't get convicted, this page can be updated accordingly. Rifaatreza (talk) 01:40, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
