Serious doubt with census datas

I'm in no way a specialist, and haven't been there to see with my bare eyes, however, According to the preliminary result of the 2011 Nepal census it has a population of 6,527 people living in 1495 individual households is surprising to me.

Indeed, if this Manang article refers to the village development committee (V.D.C.) in Manang District in the Gandaki Zone of northern Nepal, then the National Population and Housing Census 2011 indicates rather :

  • 6,538 people living in 1,480 households for the whole district
  • 630 people living in 131 households for the V.D.C/Municipality.

Besides, a quick look at Google maps shows me that I'd have a hard time finding 1000+ houses there!

Can anyone checks this carefully and correct that.
