– The titles of these articles are confusing in two ways: the word "Mandal" also means a local authority area similar to a tehsil in India, so "(town)" could be an ambiguous; and here the article about the former municipality is at a title where one might expect to find an article about the current town. Clearly there will be links to fix but this shouldn't be a barrier to resolving the current ambiguities. Please note a related request at Talk:Mandal (tehsil)#Requested move 23 October 2020. Oppose per WP:CONSISTENT.This is standard disambiguation for Norway: comma for municipalities (if necessary), parenthetical for towns/cities/etc within municipalities. BegbertBiggs (talk) 12:54, 30 October 2020 (UTC)- Actually, let me strike that as I have found both ways of disambiguation: Aure, Norway and Aure (village) but Alver (municipality) and Alver, Norway. This may need a larger discussion if consistency is to be achieved. BegbertBiggs (talk) 13:04, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
