Route box
editThe route box currently shown is confusing. Aren't route boxes for currently operating lines only? If they are also used for historic (former) lines & stations, then some additional labeling is needed, to distinguish closed stations, lines, etc. from currently open ones. This station has been closed since 1937, and the route shown is "Newark-World Trade Center." The route certainly wasn't called that in the 1930s when the station was open. Also, this was primarily a PRR station, and there's no route box shown for the old PRR line to Exchange Place. Showing the H&M route alone is a form of "undue emphasis."
The route box should be deleted unless it can be modified/relabeled as discussed above. It might be clearer to use a modified version of the PATH system map (Template:PATH route map). This map includes Manhattan Transfer and shows the station as "closed." Caseyjonz (talk) 03:23, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- A lot of routeboxes for former lines have been turning up lately. The separate Hudson & Manhattan S-lines should be changed from World Trade Center (PATH station) to Hudson Terminal and the one to Pennsylvania Station (Newark) should be replaced with Park Place (H&M station). ----DanTD (talk) 04:00, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
