Manimegalai (VJ) → Manimegalai – No need for parentheticals. DareshMohan (talk) 06:33, 27 July 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 06:25, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. Until last year, the proposed target had redirected to Manimekalai for over 15 years. Dekimasuよ! 07:11, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. Is Manimekalai ever spelt "Manimegalai"? If it commonly is, then we should keep the redirect, as far more notable than the VJ. If it is, but not commonly, then we can make the move and have a hatnote from the VJ. If it it never is then we can just make the move. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:32, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom, unless someone can explain why it should redirect to Manimekalai.--Ortizesp (talk) 01:56, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- Per Google Books, the epic seems to be listed with the spelling "Manimegalai" in Encyclopaedia of Indian Literature, The Puffin History of India, Volume 1, Epic in Indian Literature, The Penguin History of Early India, A Cultural History of India, etc. I have not tried to figure out the overall proportion. - Support, needless disambiguation. JIP | Talk 16:44, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
