So, please explain why the Band Directors aren't notable and also why we can't express how much we do for our school Somno??? And also, you haven't complained about the awards the band has won or anything about the swimteam winning every year. Would you like more proof?

Hi JVIartin. The band directors should only be included if they are notable, per the notability policy. You can refer to the guideline for writing school articles for more information. I don't know what you mean by expressing how much you do for your school. I haven't "complained" about the awards because I'm giving you a chance to add references. You should reference every item you add using verifiable, reliable sources. You can add pretty much anything you like as long as it meets Wikipedia policies, such as the ones I've already mentioned and Neutral point of view. The schools guideline I've referred to above has lots of useful tips about what to add to the article, and what not to add. Hopefully you'll find it helpful, and the Mansfield High School article can improve even further. Somno (talk) 06:51, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thank you. I thought that this was all because you wanted to do something to the site or you were just messing with it. But i will try to reference the items but what should i make my reference for a Director. Our Diresctor Matt Garret is currently Director of a wintergaurd that is 5th in the NATION!!! i would love to have something about this. And by complain i mean by erasing the small notion in the Athletics section of this article. Thank you for your help and sorry if i seemed like a disgruntled student that has a lot of homework due the next day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JVIartin (talk • contribs)
No worries, happy to help. :) Your enthusiasm is great, so I hope the schools guideline has helped you come up with more ideas to improve the article. Just remember to reference stuff you add - you most likely have to do that at school already so you're probably used to it (I'm a university student, so I'm used to adding a reference for everything I write, too - it's annoying, but a helpful habit to have when editing here!).
