Kouadio Koné → Manu Koné – From what I tell, a majority sources refer to him as Manu, so per WP:COMMONNAME we should change the article name. Feel free to leave your thoughts. By the way, this is my first requested move so if I did something wrong please be understanding. Paul Vaurie (talk) 17:49, 10 March 2021 (UTC)

- Oppose - slightly more Google hits for 'Kouadio' than 'Manu', and majority of sources I see on the page use 'Kouadio'. GiantSnowman 17:56, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment - he refers to himself as Manu. See his Instagram page. Paul Vaurie (talk) 18:34, 10 March 2021 (UTC)

Kouadio Koné → Manu Koné – I made a requested move for this article two years ago, but I think that a move is even more in need now. Manu Koné is the WP:COMMONNAME of the footballer, if you look at sources online. For example, if you search both names up on Google, there are hundreds of thousands more results for "Manu Koné" than for "Kouadio Koné". Next, he refers to himself as Manu, as seen on his own Instagram page, Twitter page, and TikTok page. Lastly, he is known in his club as Manu Koné, as Borussia Mönchengladbach call him Manu Koné on their own squad profiles (here). The overarching consensus is that Emmanuel Kouadio Koné is better known as Manu Koné, among football fans, commentators, and media. (Note that Kouadio isn't even his first name!). Anyways, please leave your comments below. Paul Vaurie (talk) 17:11, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
