Contraversies section
editIt appears that there is more to this conglomerate than this page lets on. First, we have MNG jet (not to be confused with MNG airlines) assisting in the great Carlos Ghosn escape. MNGs role in the escape is widely documented in reliable sources like this one and not so reliable sources like this one.
There are also some more sinister goings-on, specifically an extrajudicial killing at a Burkin Faso goldmine run by MNG. I think given the size of the conglomerate and the significant public interest in extrajudicial killings there should at least be some mention of this in the article. The question is, with such a short stub, how do we add a contoversies section without skewing the NPOV?GDX420 (talk) 15:12, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Hi,
I work for a communications agency representing Mapa Group, formerly known as MNG Group of Companies. I therefore cannot edit the page myself.
The company was formerly trading as MNG Group of Companies and is now trading instead as "Mapa Group".
For example
https://www.linkedin.com/company/mapa-group/ https://www.facebook.com/mapagroupHQ https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/mapa-group-hq https://www.mapa.group
In light of this, would it be possible to update the title of the page to the company's new name "Mapa Group"?
Many thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by AS HG London (talk • contribs) 13:46, November 12, 2020 (UTC)
- Not done Hi @AS HG London:, thank you for requesting an edit and declaring who you are representing. Please read Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure carefully before continuing to request edits on Wikipedia. We also need a declaration on the communications agency you are employed by, which you can post on your user page by following this template: Template:Paid. As for your edits, Linkedin, Facebook and Crunchbase are reliable sources on Wikipedia so we cannot cite them, and the mapa.group link doesn't mention this name change. If you find a source that states this name change post another request below by following the instructions here: Template:Request edit/Instructions. Please post below or on my talk page if you have any questions. Z1720 (talk) 19:50, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi, @Z1720: thanks very much for your response. I have now updated my user page to reflect the company I work for and our connection to the client. In addition, with regards source for the name change here is a link from the website https://mapa.group/weve-grown-stronger/ AS HG London (talk) 10:57, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Done I did a Google search and saw a Bloomberg profile of the company that referenced the name change, so I believe the name change is verified. I used the mapa.group link above as the source. I moved the page to the company's new name and referenced the name change in the lede and history section. Please let me know if you need anything else. Z1720 (talk) 16:59, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
