editthat is disgusting. americans are truly the stupidest people on earth, who have nothing better to do than come up with ridiculous things like this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.238.142.89 (talk) 01:10, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- Heh. "That is disgusting" is the first words that came out of my mouth looking at this article. I know wiki isnt a forum and this will eventually be deleted, but I want to say that I agree. --Evildevil (talk) 02:56, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- Why is this nonsense on the front page? Pellet (talk) 02:59, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- It's a new article, unless it's going to be deleted it's perfectly reasonable to have in the new articles section. Incidentally, the subject matter is disgusting, but I don't agree that all Americans are stupid. - Tbsdy lives (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 03:25, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- The subject of this article combines three very important foods in North America: bacon, donuts and (fake I assume) maple syrup. This is the future. Bow down before this wonderous innovation that American ingenuity will be delivering around the world very soon! ChildofMidnight (talk) 04:02, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- This supports H. L. Mencken's thesis that, "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public."
- But there is one redeeming feature. This will be a useful example when we're into the next notability debate. If we have articles on Maple bacon donuts, then your minor rock group or second string footballer should be worth retaining too.

- Today is National Doughnut Day, a holiday dating back to 1938. Please be respectful of our culture and traditions. :) ChildofMidnight (talk) 05:41, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

edit[1] A version served in Rehoboth Beach some weekends. Glazed Donuts Catering serves this up along with other exotic varieties in the Midwest (Available at Bite Café, New Wave Café, and Swim Café, or in small batches by emailing glazedchicago@gmail.com)[2]. There's a bacon apple maple from Dynamo in S.F. on Saturdays [3]. This article discusses the unpredictability of donut customers in relation to the bacon maple donut per Happy Donut on Main Street in Myrtle Creek [4]. This story discusses how it's almost always sold out at Dynamo [5]. And those are just stories from the past month. Clearly this subject is quite important.
