Legacy section and Episode Listing
editThis article is missing information on the series legacy, since it spawned many youtube horror series like EverymanHYBRID, CaughtNotSleeping, SirensInTheNight, and Threedrowned just to name a few. Since this is a series there should be an episode listing with a brief synopsis for each episode added to the article as well. There should also be more reviews on the series from notable critics, a quote from Roger Ebert's review on the series should be added to the article as well.--Paleface Jack (talk) 15:45, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Do you have sources for these things? The Legacy section in particular could be difficult, though if you can give us some links, I wouldn't mind trying to work on it. ~Mable (chat) 18:09, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- Also, the "Roger Ebert's review" consists of the following tweet: "“Marble Hornets,” a YouTube serial. A forsaken indie film meets “Paranormal.” All episodes to date" and a hyperlink. Not much to work with... ~Mable (chat) 18:11, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
That's all?--Paleface Jack (talk) 23:12, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- Click the link yourself, it's really just a tweet. I'm not even sure if it can be called "praise". We could state that Ebert compared Marble Hornets with "Paranormal" (I am not even sure what he is referring to), but other than that, that source isn't particularly useful... ~Mable (chat) 17:41, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Minor edit warring over bloated plot section
editI don't know if this edit warring will continue, but it might be a good idea to get the article temporarily protected for a while? I'm not entirely sure of the guidelines. ~Mable (chat) 23:21, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- ...I don't want to do undo an edit yet again - I'm pretty sure I've already broken the rule of edit-warring :s ~Mable (chat) 11:39, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- If anyone can put together a good, concise version of each season I'm not opposed to it being re-added, but as it stands I agree with the removal of the season synopses. It was pretty bulky and unwieldy. I've heard that the show grew pretty complicated as it progressed, so I'm not certain that this will ever be summarized enough to where it could be included in the article. We may just want to list the "official" wiki at WikiDot. The site does have some oversight, so it's not really able to be edited by totally random people. - I don't think there's anything wrong with a short plot section that only really explains the set-up and theme. After all, the exact events of the plot aren't commented upon much in the sources, right? ~Mable (chat) 11:30, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Youtube Views Format Change from Season 1 to 2 and 3
editMinor complaint, but the number of YouTube views per video entry goes from whole numbers in Season One, to rounded decimals numbers for Season Two and Three. This throws off the format of the article, as the difference between the two is negligible considering that Season Two and Three's video entry summaries are far shorter than the Season One summaries, meaning that the format change wasn't made for spacing sake. The entire article should use whole numbers without decimals for Youtube viewers. 198.254.26.2 (talk) 02:24, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
Reference to "Connect with I" webseries
editIn the "Development and reception" section, there was a reference to a series named "Connect with I" (as cited from the source). But it seems the author of that source was mistaken : the name of the series is "iChannel" (link: https://www.youtube.com/c/ichannel) and "Connect with I" was the name of a defunct website related to the series (as well as the header of this blog: http://ichannelblog.blogspot.com/). I made an edit to correct the name. Was it appropriate? Stellux24 (talk) 15:10, 24 October 2021 (UTC)

Who keeps calling Jay Merrick silly?
editI’m new here, this is my first ever Wikipedia talk thing, but I’m just confused, why does this person do this? This is so odd, to be honest. 108.194.54.249 (talk) 22:01, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
