The "complete" F1 results section omits many March drivers' names, and in places lists non-works drivers and omits works ones.

Unfortunately, doing it properly will mean that years like 1970-72 and 76-77 will look awful...

Focus on F1

edit

This Article focuses far too much on Formula One. March are better know for production single seater racing cars for the lower formulae - particularly in the seventies and early eighties. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sir smellybeard (talkcontribs) 09:55, 19 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

MARCH or MaRCH

edit

I always understood that the March acronym was derived from its founding partners — i.e. Max Mosley, Rees, Coaker and Herd — but that for the resulting MRCH name the A was simply added, and not necessarily because Rees was called Alan. Lustigson (talk) 07:47, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Page 15 of Alan Henry's March: The Grand Prix & Indy Cars says "...their joint project, the name of which was an acronym produced from their initials (Mosley, Alan Rees, Coaker, Herd)". DH85868993 (talk) 12:20, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

According to one story doing the rounds at the time the company was formed the name was derived from “Much Advertised Racing Car Hoax”… Mr Larrington (talk) 01:56, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
