What, no mum?
edit...'Is the son of John Bentley'. As his father isn't blue or red linked, and therefore presumably isn't notable, why isn't Bentley's mother also named? Takes two to tango ... 81.152.169.19 21:19, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

- I've put it back as 'Teesside accent', altho' I agree that it sounds non-typical for someone from Stockton. I'm pretty sure he "sexes it up" for the telly and makes it sound more Geordie than Smoggie, but that's difficult to cite. 91.85.52.181 (talk) 22:46, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
Geordie accent!?!?!
editVery strange accent for him given his roots, it's neither a Gateshead accent nor a Teeside accent, the nearest I can match it to is Wearside (and specifically Sunderland).
- One thing is certain. This individual, wherever he hails from, can rest assured that his exaggerated accent will go down in TV history as one of the most annoying ever and will be a source of embarrassment to all Geordies for decades to come. Citations abound...
