editThe topic occurs in the Catholic Encyclopedia, as referenced. There is a fuller discussion of the identity of Marcus, and the publication history of the known work, in Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology: see https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=Td1yYJmPJSoC&pg=PA945. This is a minor figure in the Greek Church Fathers, but included in Migne's Patrologia. Passes WP:GNG as far as I'm concerned. Some people would want to look him up.
