This is an excellent draft - wonderful work! I have a few small pieces of feedback for you:
In the lead I would consider rephrasing the sentence with "she excelled" to use more neutral language. I have no doubt she did excel, but we want to be careful that it does't come off as overly praise-laden
Move all periods and commas to the other side of the inline citations. I've updated the lead to show the Wikipedia-style period/comma placement
I would change the "Honoring her legacy" section to "Legacy" or "Memorials" - your phrasing isn't incorrect or wrong, it's just not common on Wikipedia
I made some minor tweaks - spacing and linking - to the infobox
