editThis page was originally redirecting to a list of Argentine films. I corrected the redirect to Marianela (novel). The film is based on the novel, which is in itself a significant piece of Spanish literature, and the 1955 Argentine version is no more significant than the Spanish 1940 or 1972 ones.
