first edit

this was removed by an unknown user. i'm just posting it back and answering the question

"Brampton, Ontario in Canada is Marikina's "twin city"." Can someone elaborate on that statement or else I am bound to edit it out of the page. JonSnow 22:32, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

ei guys, let's repair all the disambiguation links in the article. i want this article to be reviewed and be a featured article. pls help. for repairing disambiguation links, pls refer to wp editing help. thnx.

Ad tag

I added the ad tag since the some parts of the article sounds like a travrel brochure and/or an ad enticing people to live in the city. While I am sure that Marikina is a "liveable" city compared to others in Metro Manila, Wikipedia is not a travel guide/living guide and POV stuff has to go. I'll be editing it to remove those that belong later but anyone is welcome to dispute the tag here and/or edit out the POV parts.--Chicbicyclist 09:39, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

can you please list here the parts or section needed to be edited and i'll be more than happy to edit out. i'll be back tomorrow to trim down the famous landmarks and locations.RebSkii 20:02, 4 December 2006 (UTC

This site also needs to be checked for grammar. Slayergrl99 00:38, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Slayergrl99

<Cityname> <City>

There is a discussion regarding the removal of the word "city" from the article names of Philippine cities. This may imminently affect the article name for Marikina. For city names which are not unique, disambiguation alternatives are also being presented. Formal request for page move may follow after a reasonable time of discussion. If you wish to participate, please post your comments here. --JinJian (talk) 03:58, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Question on Objectivity, and other matters

I have been reading in a rough way the articles on the constituent cities of the National Capital Region. This one really reads like it has not been given good editorial attention, and the 2 (only) references are indicative of a problem for something of this length. It may be 95% a good article, it may only be 5% a good article. I cannot tell, but it really needs a going over. The ones I looked at prior to this one appeared to have been done with a little more care toward being and looking objective.Julzes (talk) 04:00, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Removal of text

There has been removal of text from the transport section. Whilst not properly cited, there has definitely been in rail in Marikina. Secondly, putting transport under infrastructure is not common practice. Any future significant removals should be discussed here or indicated by an accurate edit summary regards. I'm going to ask any WP rail about the former railway. It is difficult to find reliable sources. LibStar (talk) 11:21, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Marikina. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
