Effects of ocean acidification

In the article on ocean acidification we have a section on "Impacts on oceanic calcifying organisms". I was searching for a Wikipedia article on "calcifier" or "calcifying organism" to link to but found none, not even a redirect. So I have now placed a redirect from those two terms to this article. I wonder if it's better to have a separate article called "oceanic calcifier", or if it's OK to have just one article that covers both: the process and the organisms. Either way, this article should also include some information on how ocean acidification impacts on calcification (perhaps just a link or an excerpt from the other article is sufficient).
