editBold textHow did the Gastneau girls get all of that money? I always thought he was dead and they got rich from that. If anyone knows please let me know!
According to ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/columns/garber_greg/1305782.html) "Gastineau lost his first 10 fights." Therefore, it is quite impossible for him to have had a boxing record of 15-2.
his x-wife lisa got jets pension in the divorce.

Mark Gastineau's spouse's name is Jo Ann Gastineau. They were married on December 20, 2007 at Times Square Church. They are both Christians and members of Times Square Church. Mjgcards (talk) 16:01, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

late hit against Bernie Kosar
editThe article should mention his late hit against Bernie Kosar. It's hard to find out what effect this had on the game from other poorly written articles on the web. Anyone know? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.203.30.45 (talk) 19:33, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
I added information about the late hit in the '86 playoff game against the Browns. --Sb26554 18:40, 10 March 2008
Gastineau's first name
editIs it spelled "Marc" or "Mark"? I wasn't sure because I've seen his first name spelled both ways. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 17:45, 4 April 2008 (UTC) I thought he was on steroids and that was a major issue and the reason for his roid rage?? Why no mention of that? (----)
steroid usage
editI think this should be listed down in personal life. He admitted the usage and said it affected his aggression and gatewayed into abusing other drugs. I remember when it was reported and it was national sports news. A quick Google will show several RSes.
