I'll be back
editHi. I think I can give this article a thorough clean-up; I state my intention of returning to it in the very near future. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 21:06, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
The two featured matches
editWhy are there two featured matches in this article, the community shield (2007) and the league cup final (2008), one of which has no further explanation?
I can remember him giving a penalty at Fulham and then changing his mind (a very very rare event in football) but this game isn't listed or mentioned? It would seem more worthy of pulling out for special mention than the matches above.
I also suspect the games in question are placed there with a pro-Chelsea bias as if insinuating Halsey is biased against Chelsea, which is
a) a POV
and
b) without any proof, indeed there isn't even any specific information about the charges being levelled against him from the community shield!
I would suggest this section ought to be removed if the person who placed it there cannot justify it and rewrite it with further explanation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.189.75.203 (talk) 10:40, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Wigan vs Newcastle
editRemoved 'apparent' from the handball incident... video re-runs of the match showed that it was a blatant handball. However, rather than say blatant (there was no argument that the player moved his hand to guide the ball and it was not a ball to hand argument), just saying 'handball' suffices. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.23.104.230 (talk) 17:37, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
