Mercenary in lead
editWhat’s with the IP edits removing “mercenary” from the lead section? He spent years in Iraq as a security contractor and started a $100+ million mercenary company which he later sold off, shouldn’t be contentious. I’ll add it back again, I assume there’s some busybodies not too happy about the recent news coverage. Dudsud (talk) 23:19, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
- The word "mercenary" appears in the lead only. As the lead is supposed to be a summary of the article, it would be appropriate for the word to also be used in the body of the article. That way, it's far less contentious, Dudsud. Schwede66 23:29, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
- Happy to either edit the body to include that term, or use another term like “security contractor” depending on what is used in the body. Dudsud (talk) 05:02, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
