Death?
editIsn't the guy dead? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.209.199.204 (talk) 12:28, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
- Simple answer: No. He retired from bodybuilding in 2006, but has put in personal appearances for Ultimate Nutrition as recently as last month (April 2012), and has even made occasional noises about returning to the competition stage. http://www.flexonline.com/contest-coverage/fibo12/ifbb-pro-markus-ruhl-2012-fibo-power-expo -- FeRD_NYC (talk) 11:59, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
"Training Movies" section needs citations
editThis section included an in-article note that "Release dates need sources", which goes against Wikipedia practices. Converted into a Template:Refimprove section infobox. -- FeRD_NYC (talk) 11:54, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Fabricated edits by IP user
editIP user 124.253.21.105 made some edits recently that appear to be total fabrications; we've had this problem before with other IP users. I know the Olympia placings are false (backed up by the already-provided references), the physical stats are wildly improbable, and I can't find anything to confirm that Marcus even appeared at the 2012 Sheru Classic, much less placed 12th, so I'm willing to assume that's false as well unless someone can provide a source. I know some of those edits were already corrected, but I'm going to undo/revert the rest and warn the IP user (who has no other edits, so I doubt it'll do any good). If anyone can find sources for any of the information, please re-add it with appropriate references. — FeRD_NYC (talk) 00:51, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Bodybuilding name
editRecently, i put his Bodybuilding nickname - someone removed it. These names are really important and i think all fans should know it. His Bodybuilding name is "German Nightmare". For sources, google it. 41.114.63.175 (talk) 12:36, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, IP User.
For sources, google it.
That's not really how this works. If you think the information is important to the article, you're invited — encouraged, even — to add it, as long as it's accompanied by a citation to a verifiable, reliable source. - (Those sources can be found using Google, in fact they often are. But Google results themselves are not a reliable source for anything, and the results produced by a search have to be examined to determine which, if any, is an acceptable source by Wikipedia standards.) The sourcing requirements are particularly strict, and any edits that violate them are quickly reverted, for all articles like this one which fall under biographies of living persons rules. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 00:10, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
"German Nightmare" is a name known by almost every fan and bodybuilding enthusiasts. There's no need for me to edit wikipedia articles because your admin reverts them. That's why i only make comments/suggestions here, for YOU to do it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.114.109.228 (talk) 10:29, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
