Singaporean Red Beret
editIs the Singaporean Red Beret distinct from the British Maroon? If you are knowledgable, please consider adding to the maroon beret article. Ng.j 15:26, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
They wear the tan beret, not the maroon.

Venezuelan National Guard
editThe section needs clarification. It does not state anywhere whether the entire VNG or only a particular unit within the VNG wears the maroon beret. Roger (talk) 18:25, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Russian Blue Beret
edit..lol.. is not referred to as "cornflower blue". It is referred to as "Ultra-marine" at least in Airborn" recruitment ads. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.247.42.20 (talk) 20:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Red or maroon
editIf we can discuss about the colour of the British beret, regarding the others... either I have eyes problems or they're all reds! and a lot of them are in both articles, this one and the Red beret, linked at the bottom. I think it would be relevant to merge both and precise that the British one is maroon and not exactly red. Any advice? --Davric (talk) 14:23, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
