I've removed the templates requesting that the article be wikified, warning of a non-encyclopedic tone and warning of possible copying and pasting. In fact the bulk of the article was copied and pasted from the Mars' Hill website.

I've attempted to clean up the article, using The Peak and The Ubyssey as guides for how a Wikipedia article on a student newspaper should look, but some information is still outstanding. The reference to the old name "The Today", needs a reference to the year the name was changed. I was a student there at the time, but I can't remember what year it was changed.

There should also be some reference added to the short-lived unofficial student newspaper called "Mars Hill". (Slightly different). Perhaps we should include some reference to notable protest papers that existed and mention the complaints that "The Today" was little more than a mouthpiece for the official University line? Or is that too much for an article on this subject?

Hello Issachar

Do you know what became of Bruce Beck and why did the administration shut the paper down after only two issues? I am asking because I am going to Trinity right now.

Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.114.134.46 (talk) 05:51, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Clarification of current status

edit

Per the article as it stands today, Mars' Hill:

  • is now the official newspaper
  • was shut down after two issues
  • replaced the current official paper (what?)

Can someone clarify / reword, please? Jessicapierce (talk) 17:12, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
