Kg are not units of weight
editWhat is going on with the way this post states that the same object has different kilograms on different planets? A kilogram, by definition, cannot be used this way, mass does not change from planet to planet. Pound force or newtons are the appropriate unit, not kilograms, which should never be used for weight.
- It's tricky because the metric system doesn't have a commonly used unit of weight, while pounds can be used for mass or weight. I fleshed out the caption to describe these as "equivalent masses", which I think is more accurate. Justin Kunimune (talk) 00:28, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
