Made several edits tonight - tidied up some data, added Ground Floor and I Will Internalize EPs, changed photo to one more recent and compiled a list of appearances (this is in no way comprehensive, just based on my record collection!) Tacceber 06:35, 20 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

This article needs another picture! So far I haven't found one that's public domain. Now I wish I'd sneaked a camera in when I saw her open for Neko Case. thx1138 11:52, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just added one from commons :D Arniep 22:29, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why did Supdude revert his sentence? It was relevant information I thought, and not clearly visible from looking through her discography...Nikevs 22:41, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't even say what fricken type of music she does? --clinton.roy@gmail.com

I've edited down the list of appearances, and changed it to 'Contributions'. I've done this because what it had become made no sense. I started it with the intention of listing the records she is on other than her own, but it had started to include a singular radio appearance, only one of her several Letterman appearances, and a seemingly arbitrary couple of live performances. Typo?

"and along on stage " - Should this be "and alone on stage" ?Kdammers (talk) 00:56, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

In attempting to verify this quotation and thereby fix the apparent typo, I have been unable to confirm the quotation from current online sources. I will try to obtain the original review in its entirety to verify the content. Please stay tuned. Scottyoak2 (talk) 03:47, 7 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Investigating a little further, it seems that the editor who added the quotation in 2008 has not been active since then, so we are unlikely to get help from them. Looking into the Wayback Machine's archive, here we see that Tricia Summers of Spin did indeed write a very positive review of Wainwright's performance, but I do not see the specific quotation that the article cites. Interestingly, Dose magazine uses the quotation from the Wikipedia article here in April 2013 but it is changed to "along with a powerful voice", while Irish newspaper the Galway Advertiser writes it as "alone on stage with a powerful voice" here in January 2013. Date Conflict: Birth of Son

edit

The Buzzcocks episode referenced in the article shows a pregnant Martha, while the D.O.B. suggests the birth occurred two days earlier and premature, making one of the dates unlikely. 137.82.115.193 (talk) 20:02, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

List of songs recorded by Martha Wainwright

edit

I was surprised to see there was not a List of songs recorded by Martha Wainwright. I redirected the page to here for now, but feel free to get a list going before me if you have time and interest. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:52, 26 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

More than three years later, and it's still redirecting to here. Time to do something about that. --Cornellier (talk) 12:45, 28 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Has potential for expansion. I am currently traveling, but interested in starting a list. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:22, 28 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
