Building Namings

edit

There is a rule at Iowa State University that buildings not be named after living persons. He had persuaded that the rule be suspended such that the Honors Building be named after him before he departed his role as president.

Sweatshops

edit

I Believe there needs to be some mention of the Sweatshop protests in this article or at Purdue University. The Purdue Exponent has several stories on the small scale protests that have occured in 2006 exponent main page Barcode 21:51, 17 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

No mention of the controversy regarding his pay?

edit

There needs to be the "other side" included in this article as well. Not so long ago, it was revealed that Martrin Jischke drew the highest salary of all public school presidents in the country, a position not consistent with Purdue's ranking within these schools. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.210.129.170 (talk) 19:43, 1 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 07:18, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
