editHe did well to introduce the Kruskal-Szekeres coordinates in 1960 to the Kerr vacuum solution since the Kerr solution wasn't discovered until 1963. Kruskal M.D., Phys. Rev 119, 1743 (1960) and Kerr R.P. Phys Rev Lett 11, 237 (1963) Perhaps this is the tiny hint that he discovered more than just a coordinate system?
He died
editMartin Kruskal died 2 days ago (December 26th). I only know this from personal communication, so I can't really source it, but it should probably get added.

What is needed?
editWhat is needed to remove the complaint that this article reads like an obituary? Is that complaint outdated? To me the article seems appropriate and I am not certain what the complaint is.
