General Improvements

edit

I cleaned up the grammar significantly today - one concern with the page is whether the show still airs (anywhere). The original run is over, so I changed the entry in the text box at the top, and I know it has not been shown in Canada since around the same timeframe, but cannot verify for the Disney Channel or Disney Asia. I suspect it is no longer shown by Disney Channel either, but Family (the Canadian equivalent, more or less) does not have the exact same lineup. If so, it would be nice if someone from the US could add when it wrapped up there. Sailor7sakura (talk) 23:56, 2 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ha! I guess I must not have removed the maintenance tag from this page the last time I edited it, because apparently I've improved the page's grammar twice now. I think it's definitely sufficiently improved to warrant removing that tag now! Sailor7sakura (talk) 05:20, 15 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

What about the Flirt Stepsibling Trope?

edit

In the Original Comics, Martin and his step sister get married. There is also an undercurrent of their romantic love(just under the surface) for each other through ought the show.

Hi, it's unclear what you are proposing be added/changed to the article, but if you are proposing that we treat Wikipedia like it is TVTropes by adding interpretive content, the answer is no. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about any given subject, so if you can find such an authoritative source (not TVTropes, not blogs or other user-generated sources) that makes observations about the series along these lines, then perhaps changes can be made. But until that point, we don't add our personal beliefs/feelings/opinions/interpretations to articles. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:37, 3 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure that you're actually referring to something from the show. The way I read it, there is little in the TV adaptation to suggest any relationship between Martin and Diana that crosses the line from siblings to romantic interests. One significant factor standing in its way is the presence of different love interests for both of them. I think both of these things say that including such a trope would be totally unfounded. Broadcast section

edit

I have been removing an unreferenced section labeled "Broadcasting International" from this article as its content conflicts with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Television § Broadcast says "When detailing a show's international broadcasting, simply listing every channel the series appears on is discouraged; Wikipedia is not a television guide. Apart from the channel of origin for the series, editors are encouraged to instead detail noteworthy (see next paragraph) foreign broadcasts, from English-speaking countries, through prose form". The section was an unreferenced table, not prose, consisted of a list of flags and countries and had no explanation of why any of that info listed was notable. It does not belong in article. Mulligan?

edit

When was Martin’s last name Mulligan? Was it revealed in an episode? —101.173.71.14 (talk) 06:11, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
