It is not connected to the MCU whatsoever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.37.148.2 (talk) 01:37, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: Not moved to Marvel's Avengers; no consensus on Marvel's Avengers (video game) with no prejudice towards a new RM in the short-term. Sceptre (talk) 18:02, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Avengers (2020 video game)Marvel's Avengers – This is its name and what is used throughout the article. Move this and use a hatnote for the only other entry at the current dab page. See also WP:TWODABS. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 05:18, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Support Marvel's Avengers (video game) if necessary. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:19, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Support this suggestion.--Ortizesp (talk) 00:43, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
TheDeviantPro Not sure that you have actually looked at the sources, because Marvel's Avengers is the common name for them (consistency is a potentially valid argument, but WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS). Jovanmilic97 (talk) 08:59, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Not including the Marvel's is a clear common practice and it has precedential value. OTHERSTUFFEXISTS doesn't apply. El Millo (talk) 17:35, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: Moved. The WP:COMMONNAME win out. (closed by non-admin page mover) -- Calidum 03:55, 10 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Avengers (2020 video game)Marvel's Avengers (video game) – Per the above discussion closure, there was no prejudice to opening a new RM for this title with the "(video game)" title addition.

The reason is fairly obvious, almost every source out there refers to it as "Marvel's Avengers", e.g. see google, with wp the obvious exception. The main objection above was per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, but since "(video game)" is included in the page title this overcomes this. Per WP:COMMONNAME this is definitely the right title, and no confusion with Avengers (comics) or any other media of the franchise with the "(video game)" title addition. See also disambig page Avenger where it is already listed under this title, and the other video games with this title listed there did not include the comic-book Avengers. Proposed split

I believe the aggregate volume of coverage that could be cited from sources, which includes announcements, developmental info and reception, of the post-release content for this video game is now at a point where it meets WP:GNG and a split is justified. Currently we keep all coverage of the post-release content in this article, which renders it unfocused and difficult to document gameplay, developmental and reception information that is independent of the changes introduced by post-launch updates. It appears that going forward this live service game is still seeing continued support and additional content from the developers. The Wakanda expansion is releasing soon, and so is the Spider-Man content at a later date, with more confirmed to be on the way. All of it has been subject to significant coverage. As a precedent for how the proposed Marvel's Avengers post-release content article should be structured and written, I refer to Destiny post-release content and Destiny 2 post-release content as good reference points. Cerise

Is the Cerise in the game the same as Cerise (comics), or someone else? - UtherSRG (talk) 00:21, 13 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
