Wolverine and the X-Men - necessary or not?
editDo we need to have the Wolverine and the X-Men figures in this list? The X-Men Origins: Wolverine figures are compatible with the Marvel Universe figures (hence their inclusion), but the animated figures are too different. If they can be removed, I suggest a separate page, or to merge them with the Wolverine and the X-Men page. JLThorpe (talk) 13:19, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I gave it its own page a little while ago, the link to which you can find at the bottom of the MU page. I also moved X-Men Origins: Wolverine to its own page and created one for the upcoming Iron Man: Armored Adventures line. This is definitely the better way, as the lines will continue to grow. SDCC should show expansions in each line at the end of July. ZeoVGM (talk) 23:06, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for that. I would have liked to have kept the X-Men Origins: Wolverine stuff on this page, but having it in its own page is more appropriate. I wonder if Hasbro will continue putting out stuff for that line, though, since the movie hype seems to have faded. I guess they could continue doing comic versions of the characters and have them go with the Marvel Universe figures. JLThorpe (talk) 11:50, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Nah, a picture of a 5th "deluxe figure" set came out today (Wolverine & Colossus), so I just added that to the XMO page. They'll also be announcing new waves at SDCC at the end of July. I figure both the MU and XMO:W pages will continue to grow, and while the XMO:W line could end in a year, it will be replaced by a 3 3/4" Iron Man 2 or Thor line (if not both). And the MU page would just become too cluttered if we included those. ZeoVGM (talk) 02:00, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Wave 5
editIs the list of Wave 5 series set in stone, or just "probable?" Josh (talk) 23:54, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Four of the five figures were posted here: http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?itemid=12207 JLThorpe (talk) 11:54, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Fan's Choice
editWhy does the list include Thor and Gladiator? The final two positions have not been announced yet and Thor wasn't even part of the vote. Also, it is widely known that the Thor figure was revealed early at a convention accidentally. I am going to edit the page to reflect this and should the claim be verified, the page may be reverted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Manowargodsofwar (talk • contribs) 14:06, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Ah, thank you. I saw that change on my watchlist and thought "wait, did I miss some sort of early announcement?" Haha. ZeoVGM (talk) 23:04, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Figure Tables
editThe new images to the right of the tables are a nice touch. Good job. Is it worth while adding a column to denote which figure reuse a previous figure's sculpt? E.g. The first Iron Fist row would have a new column denoting that its figure is the Wave 1 Human Torch with a re-deco. However, this could get dicey since the Iron Fist variant appears to use a new sculpt that looks like the House of M Spider-Man from SDCC. Perhaps series/numbering could identify the sculpt used, but that would rely on Hasbro continuing to give us unique numbers from series to series. Its likely they will but maybe just plain text would be best since some figures use sculpts from other lines (e.g. Red Skull). Anyways, i think sculpt information is useful, but it won't kill me if its not agreed upon. I'll research other figure pages to see if its been done already. -Christian —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.254.4.9 (talk) 20:58, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Accessory Description?
editDO we really need to have the colour listed for all of these items, especially if it is not different between two variants or if it is shared between two or more characters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.61.55.243 (talk) 18:17, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Target Exclusives
editWhat about 2 Target exclusive comic 2 packs that came out around the time of the Captain America movie? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alanreynolds38 (talk • contribs) 01:11, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
