Mary Jane Safford currently has 79 books listed at Project Gutenberg, mostly historical fiction. She is the translator, from German to English, for all of these. The article mentions that she spoke German, but it does not mention her translation work. I've begun to wonder if this article in fact describes the same Mary Jane Safford as the translator. The dates seem about right, but it is odd that I cannot find more information about this phase of her life. Anthon.Eff (talk) 15:37, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
