Mrs. Hayden has much more available regarding her history than Gay Hayden, her later estranged husband (of whom in the male dominated mannerisms of the era had Hayden Island named after him). For example, she was an early woman's suffragist and sanitation activist in early Vancouver. I simply ran out of steam to finish the article.
