I'm glad that the writer of this article took the books of Smith and Hutto with a grain of salt. These authors probably overestimated the political reach of their writings' subject. In Germany, Mary von Waldersee is mostly known for having been a very pietous person, as she is the subject of several hagiographies that downplay any political ambitions. In a rather detailed biography at hand of the Kaiser however, she wasn't even mentioned. Best regards, --Enyavar (talk) 21:19, 31 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
