I didn't want readers to mistake how the term "depersonalization" is used in the MBI for how it is used in psychiatry and clinical psychology. I had removed the internal link because the internal link is to a WP entry that reflects how the term is used in psychiatry and clinical psychology. I moved the original clarifying sentence that I wrote for the first par. into a footnote in order to slim down the opening par. Iss246 (talk) 17:00, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
user:Coastalalerts wrote that my differentiating the term "depersonalization" as used in psychiatry and clinical psychology was unsourced. Using an internal link, I directed the reader to the depersonalization WP entry where the term is explained in connection to dissociative disorder, which was the point I was making. How the term is used in the context of the MBI is explained in this article. The depersonalization article and this article as well as the note I wrote suffice to indicate that the term is used very differently in these two contexts.
